Pastor

David Bitter

I grew up in Fort Atkinson, WI, where my dad served as a pastor for many years.  His influence led me to study for the ministry.  After graduating from the Seminary in 1994, I have enjoyed serving as pastor to congregations in Montana, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and now here at Water of Life in Las Vegas. I married my wife, Stacy, the director at Water of Life school, in 1995, and God has blessed us with three children: Ben (Emmalie), who is a pastor in Florida; Jake (Sofia), who is a pastor in California; and Sarah, who is currently attending post-graduate school at the University of Wisconsin. I enjoy taking walks with Stacy, listening to live music, and following my favorite sports teams.

My Prayer for Water of Life
I’m so thankful to serve at Water of Life! My prayer is that everyone in our community would see our church and school as a place where they are welcomed, cared for, and strengthened at every stage of life. I pray that through all we do, God would refresh many hearts with the peace and purpose that only Jesus, our Savior, can give.

Director of Water of Life School

Stacy Bitter

Our director, Stacy Bitter, is an experienced teacher and leader, and has taught students from preschool through high school, and is now back at preschool again. Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me,” and Stacy’s passion in life is to use education to teach children about God’s Word and His world.

Dr. Bitter has served as a curriculum director and school leader in various roles throughout her career. Dr. Bitter holds a master’s in Leadership and Innovation from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a doctorate in K-12 Leadership from Alverno College, also in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is excited to be working with the ‘littles’ again, as they bring so much joy to each day.

Stacy and her husband, who is the pastor at Water of Life Church, relocated to Las Vegas from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is a privilege to serve Jesus every day at Water of Life Lutheran Church and School!

Church Administrative Assistant

Jennifer Santos

Jennifer Santos has been a member of Water of Life since 2013 and serves as the Church Secretary. She keeps the church office running smoothly by handling all administrative tasks, managing communications, volunteer schedules, and records to help keep the church community connected and informed. She considers Water of Life her second home and its members her extended family.

Outside of her role, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Earl, their daughter, Brianna and the family pets which include: 3 dogs, 2 Axolotls (water dragons), 4 goldfish and a zebra fish.
